Since the wedding, we have been in harvest and preserve mode. This has been a fantastic year for tomatoes, abundance and variety. Peppers have also come on good.
And yes, I did let a few things go a bit to far, but what a beautiful artichoke flower!
And do not forget the luscious eggplant...mmm good.

more..
As people get home and settle back into their routine. the pictures from the weekend are slowly trickling in. I am not sure which to post, there are many fun ones.
The Bradfords in disguise.
Emma, Matt and Josh rockin the dish pit.
Who are these people? They must have crashed the party.
Henry, leading the procession, making sure all is in order and safe.
Guest visitor Angus, from AC/DC....or is that silly Hayden?
Glad my dad was able to take a break between casts to escort me down the aisle.

Present for Ms Kate
My mind comes up with ideas and the only way to get them out is to do them. I thought of this one day while waiting for my truck at the shop. Kate at Edwards Greenhouse deserves nice things and unknown to her, she also needed a desk like work space. So with a few new 2x3 stud boards, my neighbors old fence , and some assistance from Todd, I built this work bench for Kate.
She loved it and many people at the greenhouse were very surprised I made it. Some even asked what I sell them for. Unfortunately, I rarely can make the same thing twice.

Windy day
Today we have been having constant winds up to 40 miles per hour! Our pine tree did not fare well in the winds. We did not hear it fall. Todd and I had it cut and cleaned up within an hour. The root structure was weak and shallow. It was only time before the tree was to come down. Now the melon patch will have full sun all day long!
